Traders continued to digest yesterday’s Fed Statement, after the Fed raised rates for the 2nd time this year.
Stocks jump early but finished the day mixed.
The NASDAQ was the clear leader today with a 0.8% gain, closing at a new record high.

Here’s where the major indices ended the day:
- The S&P finished with 0.3% gain. Up 7 points, the S&P ended at 2,782.
- The DOW ended 0.1% lower. Dropping just 26 points, the DOW closed at 25,175.
- The NASDAQ was up 0.9%. With a 65 point gain, the NASDAQ finished at 7,761.
- Bitcoin ended 6.4% higher. Adding $400, Bitcoin is trading at $6,650.
Crude Oil (CL) finished higher for the fourth day in a row. Up 0.4%, CL ended at $66.89 a barrel.
Facebook (FB) was a clear winner today, jumping 2.3% and ending the day with a new record.
In stock news, Comcast (CMCSA) outbid Disney (DIS) for 21st Century Fox (FOXA) assets with a $65 billion cash offer. Comcast ended 4.6% higher. And Disney was up 2.3%.
